Children’s Ministry Statement:
At ALVARADO WORSHIP CENTER, our kids are an extremely high priority and our Children’s Ministry – TRU-FIRE KIDS – is driven by the love we, as a church body, have for our children!
We believe that kids are the future of the Church! TRU-FIRE KIDS’ mission is to do whatever it takes to reach, teach, and equip our kids to be all that God has called them to be! All the children are introduced to stories from God’s word, basic Bible truths, scripture verses and songs. Every lesson taught teaches Christian principles of sharing, kindness, and obedience while emphasizing group cooperation and participation.
Consider these facts….
(1) Barna’s research discovered that a person’s lifelong behavior and view are generally developed when they are young….particularly before they reach the teenage years.
(2) A person’s moral foundations are generally in place by the time they reach age nine.
(3) A majority of Americans make a lasting determination about the personal significance of Christ’s death and resurrection by the age of 12.
(4) In most cases, the spiritual beliefs of people are irrevocably formed when they are pre-teens.
